Brain Rot IRL uses a small number of cookies and browser local-storage entries. We split them into two categories and only the essential ones run before you give consent.

• Auth session — keeps you signed in.
• Preferences — your age confirmation, parental ack, settings.
• Cookie choice — remembers your answer to this banner.

These are strictly necessary for the game to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking the app.

Non-essential (require consent)

• Advertising (Google AdSense) — shown only to free, adult players who accept cookies. Children never see personalised ads.
• Analytics — basic, aggregated usage stats. We do not run cross-site tracking.
